Confidant of Nature

“The Artist is the confidant of nature, flowers carry on dialogues with him through the graceful bending of their stems and the harmoniously tinted nuances of their blossoms.  Every flower has a cordial word that nature directs towards him”     August Rodin

For me, flowers definitely beg to be painted.  These poppies invited me into the garden, told me to take a seat, stay a while and record the conversation with watercolor.

Conversations with flowers are always cordial and there is always music in the garden (but you have to be very quiet to hear it).
